On Friday, June 25th, the Historic Rialto Theatre in Tucson, AZ will host a benefit for Border Action Network!

This is the excuse to break out the evening gowns!
Did you not get a Quinceañera when you were 15? Well, now you can live out the dream of that event that never happened.
All night long we will play Latin American music of all types: everything from Selena to Mexican punk rock DJed by Carl Hanni and Dan Shapiro. Salvador Duran will also play live music!

This event is a benefit for Border Action Network, and is an expression of our commitment to fighting SB1070.
Cover is $5. Ages 18 and over, wristbands for those who are 21+.

Pop Cycle Call to Artists and Art Show Benefit for BAN |

 This Saturday, June 26th, Pop Cycle in Tucson will host an art show and reception from 6-9 PM with a silent auction benefiting Border Action Network at Pop Cycle Gallery, 422 N. 4th Ave., Tucson, AZ 85705. In addition to other items, including t-shirts, Pop Cycle will auction art pieces with the theme of resistance to SB1070. Click here to see a sample of art items.
You have until this Wednesday, June 23rd to submit pieces for the silent auction. Artists interested in participating in "Resist" can pick up a 8x10 reclaimed wooden plank at Pop Cycle to be used as their canvas during shop hours 11-6, Sunday until 5.
Your piece can be anything addressing racism, equality, or the new laws. We would like to keep things positive. We want to encourage a positive change in Arizona.
You can assign your own price for your piece. Pop Cycle will give their half of the proceeds to Border Action Network. Each artist can elect to keep their half or donate the entire piece to Border Action.
