Tucsonans will have a chance to learn about U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez's immigration reform legislation.

On Wednesday, Border Action Network and Reform Immigration for America Campaign are hosting house party teleconferences with Gutierrez.
Hilary Tone with Border Action Network said the house parties will be held in more than 30 locations.

Gutierrez, D-Ill., will speak in English at 6 p.m and in Spanish at 7 p.m. After the teleconference, each location will host a discussion.

Tone said the idea is to reach out to communities. The house parties are open to the public. People interested in attending the teleconference in English can go to Ward 1 offices at 940 W Alameda St.

A Spanish session will be held at the church Iglesia del Dios Vivo, 519 W 27 St.

For more locations call 623-4944.
