2008 Delegation
Title 1
In 2007, five of the task force’s recommendations for border policy were included in the STRIVE Act. Title 1 is the section of the bill that deals with border security. Here you can see which of our recommendations were included.
Strive Act of 2007
This was a comprehensive immigration reform bill introduced in the House of Representatives in 2007 by Represenatives Flake and Gutierrez. After persistent advocacy by the Task Force, Border Action and Border Network for several years, five our policy recommendations were integrated into the measure. The bill did not pass.
